Manchester Wayfarer.
Wayfarer is a one day ticket. This is a brilliant
ticket covering a large area centred on Greater Manchester taking in large parts of Derbyshire and Cheshire and smaller parts of Staffordshire, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.
It borders with South Yorkshire and Mersyside. This ticket covers a large part of the Peak District and some beautiful pennine landscape further north so is ideal for lesuire. By using this ticket there are some good travel savings to be made.

Up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Concession age 5 to 15 years inclusive or holders of NCTP for eligible people aged over 60

You can buy Wayfarer tickets from
PayPoint retailers (including TFGM Travelshops).
Staffed train stations, or from the conductor on the train if the ticket office is closed.
Wayfarer tickets can be used on the day of purchase or bought up to three days in advance.

Please be aware there are cheaper tickets available provided by the bus companies if you are staying
in a more localised area within the area covered or just using one bus company. Some of these do cross into surrounding areas and are very useful. For more information on these visit the GMPTE website or the individual
